What Is Brake Checkup?
Your brakes are the most safety-critical system on your vehicle — and the one you can least afford to neglect. Brake pads wear down gradually with every stop, and once they reach minimum thickness, metal-to-metal contact damages your brake discs and drastically reduces stopping power. Our brake checkup gives you a comprehensive picture of your entire braking system: pad thickness, disc condition, brake fluid level and quality, caliper operation, and brake line integrity.
What's Included
- Brake pad thickness measurement on all four corners
- Brake disc (rotor) inspection for wear, scoring, and warping
- Brake fluid level check and contamination assessment
- Brake caliper and slide pin inspection
- Brake hose and line visual inspection for leaks or cracking
- Hand brake operation and adjustment check
Why It Matters
Brake failure on the road can be fatal. There is no service we offer that is more directly tied to you and your passengers' safety than this one. We strongly recommend a brake inspection at every major service interval, or immediately if you notice squealing, grinding, a soft pedal, or your vehicle pulling to one side under braking.
