What Is AC Filter Checkup?
The cabin air filter (also called the AC filter or pollen filter) cleans the air that enters your vehicle's interior through the heating and air conditioning system. Over time it accumulates dust, pollen, bacteria, and even mould spores. A blocked cabin filter reduces airflow through your vents, causes your AC to work harder, produces unpleasant smells, and allows poor-quality air into the cabin — which is a particular concern for passengers with allergies or respiratory conditions.
